Film Briefs: Centenary's film series will open with a study of the effects of war

Centenary United Methodist Church will present Forbidden Games at 2:30 p.m. today in room 112 at the church, 646 W. Fifth St. The film, by French film director Rene Clement, is the first installment in the Faith in Film series, and examines the effects of wartime through the lives of children struggling to come to terms with life and death.

Admission is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Reservations are suggested.
