• Glenn (8-1, 4-0) at Ragsdale (9-0, 4-0): Glenn will get its shot at the Piedmont Triad 4-A title tonight after slipping past High Point Central 14-7 last week. No. 5-ranked Ragsdale, coming off an open date, has the PTC's highest-scoring offense (31.8 ppg) and stingiest defense (5.6 ppg allowed).
• Northeast Guilford (6-3, 3-0) at North Forsyth (4-5, 2-1): North Forsyth can make up for last week's loss to Southern Guilford and play its way back into the Mid-Piedmont 3-A title picture with a victory. But North will have to stop Northeast's triple-option offense, which averages 30-plus points.
• Elkin (7-2, 5-1) at Wilkes Central (6-3, 5-1): These two are tied for second behind Starmount in the Mountain-Valley 2-A/1-A. Elkin's big advantage is that Central, a 14-7 loser to Ashe County on Monday, has had only three days to prepare.
• McGuinness (7-2, 3-2) at West Stokes (6-3, 3-2): The winner will have the inside track to third place in the Northwest 2-A/1-A. Both have losses to co-leaders East Surry and Mount Airy. McGuinness played Mount Airy tough in a 31-14 loss last week; West thumped South Stokes for its third straight win.
