NHL Roundup: Crosby's hat trick keys Penguins' win

Penguins 6, Canadiens 1: Sidney Crosby had his third career hat trick and Pittsburgh became the first NHL team to reach 10 victories this season, snapping visiting Montreal's four-game winning streak last night.
Crosby, tied for fourth in the NHL with nine goals, had his third multiple-goal game in 12 starts this season for Pittsburgh. Chris Kunitz also scored and assisted on all three of Crosby's goals. Mike Rupp and Alex Goligoski added goals, and Bill Guerin had three assists.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 23 saves, allowing only Tomas Plekanec's power-play goal.

Islanders 3, Rangers 1: Doug Weight, in his first game back after a bout with swine flu, got an assist on Kyle Okposo's tiebreaking, power-play goal late in the second period for the Islanders.
Matt Moulson and John Tavares also scored, and Dwayne Roloson stopped 34 shots in the Islanders' first regulation win of the season.

Sabres 4, Devils 1: Clarke MacArthur and Tim Kennedy scored early in the first period, and Ryan Miller made 31 saves to help Buffalo improve to 4-0 on the road.
Paul Gaustad and Jason Pominville iced the game with third-period goals.

Coyotes 4, Blue Jackets 1: Martin Hanzal, Zbynek Michalek and Robert Lang scored power-play goals, and Jason LaBarbera made 31 saves for visiting Phoenix.
James Vandermeer also scored, and Keith Yandle had three assists.

Senators 4, Panthers 3: Nick Foligno and Jarkko Ruutu scored in a 38-second span late in the second period for visiting Ottawa.
Mike Fisher and Daniel Alfredsson also scored, and defenseman Filip Kuba added two assists after missing the previous eight games because of a lower-body injury.

Pedators 4, Wild 3: Jerred Smithson scored a short-handed goal midway through the third period to give visiting Nashville its second regulation victory of the season.
Shea Weber had a goal and an assist, J.P. Dumont and Mike Santorelli added goals, and Steve Sullivan had two assists.

Stars 4, Maple Leafs 3 (OT): James Neal scored for Dallas off a rebound with 2:03 left in overtime to beat visiting Toronto.
Brad Richards scored twice, Mike Ribeiro added a goal, and Marty Turco made 33 saves for the Stars.
