Wake Forest easily beat Davidson 4-1 in soccer last night at soggy Spry Stadium.
The Deacons (12-2-2) scored three minutes into the game when freshman Andy Lubahn scored from close range.
Austin da Luz scored for the Deacons on a free kick from 24 yards out with 19 minutes left in the half for a 2-0 lead.
Leading scorer Zack Schilawski then made the score 3-0 with Corben Bone getting credit for the assist. Bone tied a career high with three assists.
In the second half the Deacons made it 4-0 when Bone set up Ike Opara off a corner kick.
Davidson (10-6) got its goal with 18 minutes left when Alex Caskey scored off a 25-yard free kick.
The Deacons will play at Boston College on Friday night.
