NCHSAA 4-A Midwest Regional: Chloe Willets and Bia Signori of Reynolds each easily won twice yesterday at Greensboro Grimsley to advance to the semifinals.
Willets did not lose a game in her two matches, and Signori lost only three games in her two matches. Ivy Gramm of Parkland and Jessica Davis of West Forsyth each won their first-round matches before losing in the second round.
Semifinals and finals are scheduled for today at Grimsley; if rained out, they will be held Monday.

NCHSAA 3-A Mideast Regional: Tiffany Vanhpraseuth of Ledford won two matches yesterday in Cameron.
Vanhpraseuth defeated Lucy Stadler of Burlington Williams 6-0, 6-0 in the first round and then beat Tori Huffman of Eden Morehead 6-0, 6-0 in the second round.

4-A West Regional: Shannon Herndon of Watauga won two matches yesterday in Huntersville.
Herndon defeated Gabby Lindsay of Charlotte Mallard Creek 6-0, 6-0 in the first round and Shruthi Rajan of Lake Norman 6-0, 6-0 in the second round.
NCISAA 3-A playoffs: Moriah Rhyne scored three goals last night as Forsyth Country Day defeated Asheville Carolina Day 5-1 yesterday in Lewisville.
Rhyne scored the first goal at 10:44 off an assist from Emily Anne Moore. Rhyne scored the second goal with 10:54 left in the first half.
Carolina Rudolph pushed the lead to 3-0 early in the second half, and Rhyne scored her third goal at 37:44 to make it 4-0. Hannah Sullivan scored Carolina Day's (5-11) lone goal at 56:44. However, Mary Scott Neill gave FCD, which outshot Carolina Day 21-9, a 5-1 lead off an assist from Eliza Williams at 58:39.
FCD (12-7) will play at Durham Academy in the quarterfinals Tuesday at 4 p.m.
NCCSA 2-A playoffs: Joseph Bailey scored two goals to lead Union Grove past visiting Hickory Christian 2-0 yesterday in the semifinals.
Both goals by Bailey came early in the second half. The first goal was unassisted and Bailey's brother Joshua assisted on the second goal.
Union Gove (16-1-2) will play in the championship game today at noon.
NCISAA 2-A playoffs: Matt Crooker scored on an assist from Angel Zalencia at the 77:55 mark to give High Point Westchester a 2-1 first-round win against Arendell Parrott Academy yesterday.
Crooker's goal broke a 1-1 tie.
Tyler Thompson scored the other goal for Westchester.
NCISAA 3-A playoffs: Matt Rickman scored in the ninth minute, and High Point Wesleyan held visiting Cary Academy without a shot to take a 1-0 first-round win yesterday.
NCCSA 3-A playoffs: Wilmington Christian defeated visiting Salem Baptist 27-25, 25-15, 25-20 in the semifinals yesterday.
