Film Briefs: Temple Emanuel to present documentary about plastic

Temple Emanuel will present the film Addicted to Plastic as part of its environmental-movie-night series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, 201 Oakwood Drive. The documentary examines the pervasiveness of plastic in our society and its impact on the environment, including the "plastic island" in the Pacific Ocean where plastic debris accumulates.

A discussion will follow the film, and refreshments will be served. The screening is free and open to the public. For more information, call 642-4361.
