The writer Anne Barnhill will present a free workshop on "Writing a Memoir" from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wilkes County Public Library in North Wilkesboro.

Barnhill is the author of the memoir At Home in the Land of Oz: Autism, My Sister and Me, and a short-story collection, What You Long For. Her book reviews appear regularly in the Winston-Salem Journal.
