Florida 77, No. 2 Michigan State 74: Erving Walker hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:56 left and Florida hung on to upset Michigan State in the Legends Classic last night in Atlantic City, N.J.
Walker finished with 12 points for the Gators (5-0).
Durrell Summers missed two last-gasp 3-point attempts in the final minute, and the Spartans (4-1) missed their chance to give coach Tom Izzo a record 341 victories at the school.
No. 1 Kansas 112, Tennessee Tech 75: Cole Aldrich had 14 points and 10 rebounds, Tyshawn Taylor added 18 points and Kansas overwhelmed Tennessee Tech last night in Lawrence, Kan.
Kansas (5-0) took care of another overmatched opponent, building a 22-point halftime lead and shooting 61 percent to extend the nation's longest home winning streak to 45 games. Xavier Henry had 15 points, Sherron Collins 12 and Aldrich shook off an off-night against Oakland to give Kansas a season-high in points.
No. 6 West Virginia 73, Texas A&M 66: Da'Sean Butler scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half to lead West Virginia past Texas A&M in the 76 Classic yesterday in Anaheim, Calif.
Butler added five rebounds and five assists for the Mountaineers (4-0), who advanced to Sunday's tournament final. Devin Ebanks came off the bench to score 14 points and nine rebounds, and Darryl Bryant chipped in with 12 points.

Marquette 79, No. 15 Michigan 65: Lazar Hayward scored 22 points and Jimmy Butler had 17 to lead Marquette past Michigan last night in Orlando, Fla.
Temple 61, Virginia Tech 50: Lavoy Allen scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Temple past Virginia Tech in a matchup of unbeaten teams last night in Philadelphia.
The Owls (4-1), who are off to their best start since the 2000-01 season, fell behind 13-8 with 9:46 left in the first half. Temple then outscored the Hokies 19-4 the rest of the half to take a 27-17 lead at the break in the Philly Hoop Group Classic.
Malcolm Delaney scored 28 of his 32 points in the second half, helping Virginia Tech (3-1) pull within 30-28 with 15:24 left.
Temple used a 16-4 run to pull away and extended the lead to as many as 19 points with 5:04 left.

South Carolina 97, Jacksonville 93: Devan Downey scored 17 of his 34 points in the final 5:30 to lead South Carolina past Jacksonville last night in Columbia, S.C.
Campbell 59, North Florida 58: Kyle Vejraska made a free throw with 3 seconds left to lift Campbell past North Florida in Buies Creek.
Furman 72, UNC Asheville 66: Jordan Miller scored 20 points to lead visiting Furman past UNC Asheville.
Wofford 81, Southern 66: Noah Dahlman scored a game-high 31 points and added eight rebounds to lead Wofford past Southern University yesterday in Las Vegas.
Dahlman, who was five points shy of a career high, was 12 of 17 from the field and 7 of 9 from the free-throw line. Junior Salters added 12 points, going 4 of 5 from 3-point range.
Jazz Williams led Southern (0-5) with 19 points, and Earnest Jones had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
