Fundraisers
Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 W. Academy St., will have its annual "Christmas Candle Tea and Bake Sale" from 5 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday. There will be traditional Moravian crafts and baked goods. Tours will begin in the sanctuary, where a large Moravian star will be on display. The final tour will start at 8 p.m. Free. Call 723-3444.
Covenant Church United Methodist, 1526 Skeet Club Road, High Point, will have its second annual "Holiday Craft and Exhibitor Market" from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Saturday. Breakfast and lunch will be available. Money raised will be used by the church's youth ministry for outreach missions. Call 442-1294.
New Hope United Methodist Church, 5125 Shattalon Drive, will have a Christmas tea at 2 p.m. next Saturday. There will be hot teas, food, decorated tables and Christmas carols. The United Methodist Men of New Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 6408 Friendship-Ledford Road, Wallburg, will sponsor a buffet-style spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 6 to 12 and $8 for takeout.
