UPDATE: A fifth person has been charged in the case. Robert Joe Pugh, 56, of 1020 Pacific Drive, Winston-Salem was arrested Tuesday on one count of felonious larceny. Pugh was released from the Forsyth County Jail after posting $1,000 bond.

The daughter of the slain local leader of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club and three local men were arrested Monday on drug and weapons charges after authorities found firearms, explosives and illegal drugs in their homes.

Elizabeth Diane Sluder, 25, of 4615 Circle Drive in Winston-Salem was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a weapon of mass destruction, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said yesterday in a statement.

Her father, Dwight Sluder, 48, was found dead on July 15 in his house in northern Forsyth County. He had died of two gunshots to the head.

Dwight Sluder's name and address appear in a 2006 database of confirmed gang members whom the sheriff's office has identified as being affiliated with the Hells Angels.

Maj. Brad Stanley, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said that the arrests of Elizabeth Sluder and the three men were not related to Dwight Sluder's death.

They are either members or associates of the Hells Angels, Stanley said. "That case is still open, and it is unsolved," Stanley said. "There are leads that we are following."

Stanley declined to comment on whether investigators will question Sluder's daughter and the three men about Dwight Sluder's death.

According to the sheriff's office, the three men arrested were:

□ William David Taylor, 41, of 4612 Circle Drive in Winston-Salem, who was charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine, selling methamphetamine, possession with the intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for drugs, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, and felony larceny.

□ Oscar Benjamin Tadlock Jr., 46, of 532 Pisgah Circle in Kernersville, who was charged with trafficking in opium, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, selling cocaine, and maintaining a dwelling for drugs.

□ Jason Edward Beard, 42, of 5731 Germanton Road in Winston-Salem was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sluder, Taylor, Tadlock and Beard were arrested after local, state and federal authorities searched their homes, the sheriff's office said.

Sluder and Beard have been released from custody. Sluder's bond was set at $10,000, and Beard's was set at $15,000, the sheriff's office said.

Taylor and Tadlock were being held last night in the Forsyth County Jail, with Taylor's bond set at $506,500 and Tadlock's at $260,000.

All four are scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.
