Police: Love triangle led to murder, suicide

HENDERSONVILLE -- Authorities say a North Carolina man killed another North Carolina man who was dating his ex-girlfriend, before turning the gun on himself.
Joseph Gaydish, 31, of Lake Lure died at an Asheville hospital Saturday morning.
Henderson Police Capt. David Adams said Gaydish killed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, Russell Flood, 26, of Pisgah Forest.
Adams said Gaydish asked Flood and his ex-girlfriend to meet him at a Hendersonville restaurant. The three got in a car and rode around together late Friday. Gaydish then shot Flood from the back seat, then himself.
The 29-year-old Pisgah Forest woman said she and Gaydish broke up several months ago but were still friendly.
She told police they did not argue while in the car.
