GREENSBORO - NewBridge Bancorp said yesterday that it has named Andrew McDowell as area executive for its markets in Forsyth and Stokes counties and for northern Davidson County.

McDowell will remain as a commercial-banking manager. He will be based at the bank's office at 161 S. Stratford Road in Winston-Salem.
