• INERTIA-REMEMBERING THE HOLOCAUST: Alban Elved Dance Company will hold auditions for a two-week dance and acting community workshop from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the Dance Studio on the Salem College campus. There are roles available for one male child, 8-9 years old; one female child, 10 years old; and one senior adult, 65 years old or older. No experience is needed.

• THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE: Twin City Stage will hold auditions 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Arts Council Theatre, 610 Coliseum Drive. There are roles available for five males and four females, 16 and older. Those auditioning should prepare a song to sing and bring sheet music. Readings from the script will be done at callbacks on Nov. 18.
