Deacs' Skinner cleared to play Saturday

JOURNAL STAFF REPORT
Wake Forest team doctors have cleared quarterback Riley Skinner to play in Saturday's game at Georgia Tech, school athletics officials said Friday morning.
Skinner suffered a concussion late in last Saturday's game against Miami. He skipped practice Monday, gradually returned to a regular routine through the week and is expected to make his 33rd consecutive start Saturday.
Kickoff will be at 3:30, and the game will be televised regionally on ABC and nationally on ESPN2.
