Area economic officials attending aviation meeting

The Piedmont Triad Partnership said yesterday that area economic officials are attending this week's Speed News Business Aviation Suppliers conference in Phoenix.
The partnership is a co-sponsor of the conference, which focuses on equipment manufacturers, marketing representatives, analysts and raw-material suppliers in the aviation industry.
Representing the Triad will be Helen Cauthen, the vice president of cluster development and retention services for the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance; Sandy Dunbeck, a senior vice president for the High Point Economic Development Corp.; and Penny Whiteheart, an executive vice president for the partnership.
