Appalachian's Hillary suffers season-ending injury

CoCo Hillary will miss the rest of the season becaue of a knee injury.
Hillary, one of Appalachian State's leading receivers and the top kickoff returner in the Southern Conference this season, tore ligaments in his right knee during a non-contact drill in practice yesterday and the injury will require surgery, said Mike Flynn, the sports information director at ASU.
Hillary, a junior from Edgefield, S.C., has 37 catches for 514 yards this season and leads the Mountaineers in touchdown receptions with four. He has returned 21 kickoffs for 522 yards and a league-leading average of 24.9 yards per return.
Hillary ranks seventh on ASU's all-time list for receiving yards with 1,588.
