Under review: The NBA is reviewing a postgame incident in Boston involving guard Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets and Rajon Rondo of the Celtics

Paul pursued Rondo toward the Celtics' locker room and had to be blocked by Boston assistant coaches after the Celtics' 97-87 win Sunday night. The guards had been assessed matching technical fouls in the second quarter after getting tangled under the basket.

Tim Frank, an NBA spokesman, confirmed that the league was looking into the incident.

Paul seemed unaware and unconcerned, saying after Monday's loss to the Knicks, "That's over and done with. We just played the Knicks. The Boston game, that's over and done with."

Paul denied on his Twitter page Monday that he ever got close to the Boston locker room or exchanged words with assistant Tom Thibodeau of Boston.

Spurs: Manu Ginobili will stay away from bats in the future.

Ginobli said on his Facebook page that he had to be vaccinated for rabies after catching a bat and removing it from the court during San Antonio's victory over Sacramento on Halloween.

Ginobili posted Monday that he doesn't know if the bat had rabies but that he had to get vaccinated to make sure he was safe. He also encouraged people to "avoid contact with bats, skunks, raccoons, rats and animals like that."

The bat swooped into the AT&T Center on Saturday night and descended onto the court late in the first period. The bat circled and left, then briefly returned to be swatted out of the air by Ginobili's bare hand.

Cavaliers: Delonte West is facing additional weapons and traffic charges in connection to his Sept. 17 arrest in Prince George's County, Md. West, 26, was indicted yesterday on eight counts, including two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon and two counts of carrying a handgun.

West was charged with two counts of carrying a gun and speeding. Authorities say he was riding a three-wheel motorcycle on a highway when he cut off an officer, who pulled him over. Police found two loaded handguns on West and a loaded shotgun in a guitar case strapped to his back.

Bucks: Guard Michael Redd is expected to miss about two weeks because of a strained tendon in his left knee.

The Bucks had said Monday that Redd would miss at least that much time and Redd, who was injured on a dunk in Saturday's home opener, said yesterday that he should be able to return about that time.

Clippers: Team owner Donald Sterling has agreed to pay $2.7 million to settle accusations that he tried to keep blacks, Hispanics and families with children out of his apartment buildings. A Justice Department statement says that Sterling agreed to settle a 2006 government lawsuit that accused him, his wife and a family trust of housing discrimination in Los Angeles' Koreatown. A federal judge must approve the settlement.
