The internationally acclaimed Parker String Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Williams Auditorium, as part of the Lyceum Cultural Events -- Academie Series at Winston-Salem State University.
The program will include Haydn's Quartet in C Major, Op. 20, No. 2 and Bartók's Quartet No. 1. The quartet won the 2005 Concert Artists Guild Competition and captured first prize and the Mozart Prize at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition.
