■ Music in the Gardens: Gospel singers The Boys will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. at Community United Church of Christ, 3410 Community Church Road, Pfafftown, as part of the Music in the Gardens series. Free; bring a chair. For information, call 924-1479.
■ Blood for troops: The mobile blood unit from Fort Bragg will be at the National Guard Armory on Silas Creek Parkway from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect blood donations for service members. To donate, sign up by Monday by calling 766-8436 or 408-7280.
■ Diabetes seminar: From June 24 to 26, Winston-Salem First Seventh-day Adventist Church will have a seminar on dealing with diabetes by using a low-fat vegan diet, exercise and other elements of a holistic lifestyle. The seminar will be at the Bennett Family Life Center, 4545 Country Club Road. The cost is $50 to cover food costs. Registration is required by June 12.
