Art Brief: Germanton Winery will be site of swinging fundraiser for arts group

The Wine, Bid and Boogie Art Auction, a fundraiser for the Stokes County Arts Council, will be from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Germanton Winery, 3530 N.C. 8 and N.C. 65 in Germanton.
It will feature jazz and swing music by Impromptu, a wine tasting from Germanton Winery, and live and silent auctions of artwork from local and nationally known artists. The live auction will be from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the music, wine and art.
