Hampton Inn is building a hotel in Bermuda Run

BERMUDA RUN -- The Davie County Economic Development Commission said yesterday that Hampton Inn is building a three-story, 86-room hotel on Ring Road in Bermuda Run.

LHP Management Co. LLC of Pennsylvania will manage the property, which was bought from Kinderton Inn LLC. The commission said that the hotel will have 40 employees when it opens in May 2010.

Terry Bralley, the president of the commission, credited the community's golf courses and country clubs, the region's wineries and the tournaments at BB&T Soccer Park for attracting investment in the hotel.
