The father of Michael Jackson says he does not believe stress over the intense series of concerts the King of Pop planned for his comeback led to his death. Joe Jackson also said in an interview airing yesterday that he believes his son will be larger in death than he was in life. The patriarch of the Jackson 5 said he wished Michael Jackson were around to see the outpouring of affection since his death. On Saturday, the cardiologist who was with Jackson during his final moments sat down with investigators for three hours. His spokeswoman said he is not a suspect in the death. Dr. Conrad Murray "helped identify the circumstances around the death of the pop icon and clarified some inconsistencies," his spokeswoman, Miranda Sevcik, said. She said the doctor remains "a witness to this tragedy."

Actor Kevin Bacon hiked 14,110-foot Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colo., Saturday to play a concert at the top as part of an event to raise money for a cancer charity. Bacon woke up around 4:30 a.m. to make the roughly six-hour climb with his brother, Michael, and about 95 hikers at an event to raise money for the Love Hope Strength Foundation cancer charity. Michael Bacon's wife and son also joined the hike in weather that switched from chilly to sunny and back. "It's one of the hardest things I've ever done physically," Kevin Bacon said after the trek. "I'm in pretty good shape, but it still really kicked my ass." At the mountaintop, Bacon took a puff of oxygen before The Bacon Brothers performed three songs.

They wouldn't be allowed to perform in Iran, but singers Joan Baez and Jon Bon Jovi are showing their support for protesters. In videos carried on YouTube, the artists perform songs -- with a few lines in Farsi -- that call for peace. Bon Jovi sings "Stand By Me" alongside Armenian-Iranian pop star Andy Madadian. The New Jersey rocker adds, in surprisingly good Farsi, the line: "Hand in hand, with one voice, you and me, countryman, your pain, my pain, be with me." Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora provides the licks in the June 24-dated video, which opens with an image of Bon Jovi holding a sign that reads "We are all one" in Farsi. Baez's version of "We Shall Overcome" includes a portion in Farsi. Strumming an acoustic guitar in what appears to be a kitchen, the 68-year-old singer trills the song made famous as an anthem of the American civil-rights movement.

A private funeral service will be held Tuesday for Farrah Fawcett at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Church officials say the service is set for 4 p.m. Fawcett died Thursday from a rare cancer. She was 62.
