BBB issues warning about Bloomfield Lending Group

The Better Business Bureau of Northwest N.C. issued a warning yesterday of a scam involving a group called Bloomfield Lending Group.
The company bills itself as an advance fee-loan company advertising on the internet and purporting to be based in Winston-Salem, The company targets consumers who have poor credit history and difficulty obtaining traditional loans.
The bureau said that according to consumers, the company claims to be at 514 S. Stratford Road, Suite 110, and says that it has been in business for 10 years. The bureau has confirmed there is no business in the suite.
