The board of directors of Hatteras Financial Corp. declared yesterday a quarterly dividend of $1.10 a share for its common stock for the second quarter.

The dividend will be paid July 24 to shareholders registered on July 6.

Hatteras, a mortgage real-estate-investment trust based in Winston-Salem, was founded in September 2007 and conducted its initial public offering in April 2008.
