Fast & Furious (PG-13): Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster return for the fourth film in the franchise -- but only the second one to include the original film's cast. It's high-octane silliness, but at least it's more entertaining than the second and third installments in the saga.

Extras on the special edition DVD and Blu-ray include Los Bandoleros, a short film written, directed by and starring Diesel, which bridges the gap between the films; featurettes that look at the cars and the stunt work in the film; a music video; and a gag reel. The Blu-ray also has an exclusive "virtual car garage" with specs on the vehicles from the film.

Miss March (Unrated): A teenager who was looking forward to his first time falls down a flight of stairs and winds up in a coma; when he wakes up four years later, he sets out to hook back up with his former high school sweetheart, who is now the Playboy Playmate of the Month. Wackiness ensues.

Bart Got a Room (PG-13): Another hormonal comedy, but this one is more quirky than raunchy. It follows a nerdy high-school student preparing for his senior prom and trying to attract the interest of a beautiful girl. William H. Macy plays the lad's clueless father, who is recently separated and trying to figure out the dating scene himself.

The Union (Unrated): Joe Rogan and Tommy Chong are included in this documentary about the marijuana industry and how people involved in it have learned how to skirt the law.

An American Affair (R): Gretchen Mol and Noah Wyle star in this coming-of-age drama set in 1963 Washington, about a 13-year-old boy fixated on the beautiful blonde neighbor who may be having an affair with President Kennedy.

The Bad Lieutenant (R): Harvey Keitel stars in this edgy 1992 thriller about a self-destructive cop. Now available in a new special edition, extras include audio commentary and a new retrospective documentary.

Big Man Japan (PG-13): Such classics as Ultraman and Godzilla are parodied in this surreal Japanese comedy, about a gigantic superhero who saves mankind from monsters but can't seem to fit in to society himself.

Richard Pryor: Live and Smokin' (Unrated): This 1971 performance film shows the legendary comedian at his best, combining stand-up comedy and character vignettes.

Life on Mars: Series 1 (Unrated): The American remake didn't live up to this, the original British version. John Simm plays a modern-day British police detective who is in an accident and wakes up in the 1970s. There, he has to adapt to a different style of police work while trying to figure out if he is hallucinating or if he has been thrown back in time.

Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead (Unrated): The Doctor (David Tennant), a sexy cat burglar, and the passengers of a double-decker London bus go through a dimensional portal to an alien desert planet in the latest installment of the long-running series. There, they must find their way home and contend with insectlike humanoids and flying stingrays. It's available on DVD or Blu-ray, as is the latest installment of the spinoff series Torchwood.

Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5 and The Complete Series (Unrated): The Galactica saga draws to a close -- well, if you don't count the forthcoming spinoff series and standalone TV movie. The last half of Galactica's final season is available on DVD or Blu-ray, following mankind's search for planet Earth and the Cylon's quest to stop them. And for completists, there's also a massive Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series megaset.

New on Blu-ray: This is Spinal Tap, the classic rock parody about a heavy-metal band made up of lunkheads, in a new special edition with one hour of deleted scenes, audio commentary (in character), music videos, featurettes and a bonus disc with a live 2007 performance of their hit "Stonehenge"; and Twelve Monkeys, Terry Gilliam's fascinating, mind-bending time-travel story with a cast that includes Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.
