Lots will officially go on sale at Kensington Place, a "green" neighborhood in northwest Guilford County, on July 20 during a lot draw.
Leap Realty, which is marketing the development, describes Kensington Place as the Triad's first completely green-certified neighborhood, featuring Energy Star certified homes, sidewalks, streetlights, streams and walking trails. K2 Homes, a homebuilder in Oak Ridge, is the developer.
The lot draw, which is open to the public, will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Magnolia Manner in Colfax.
Lots range from $67,800 to $71,800. Home prices are estimated to begin at $300,000.
