Winston-Salem man in critical condition after motorcycle crash

A Winston-Salem man is in critical condition this morning after a motorcycle crash on Clemmonsville Road.

The crash occurred just before midnight. Police said Leslie Robert Kirk, 57, was traveling eastbound on Clemmonsville Road when he struck another motorcyclist who had stopped to turn onto Peters Creek Parkway.

Kirk was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where he is in critical condition.
The driver of the other motorcycle, Donald Hawkins of Clemmons and his passenger Kelly Hawkins, of Clemmons, were not injured, police said.
