MADISON, N.C. - Sheriff's deputies in North Carolina have arrested a man who fired at least 30 shots at them from inside his home during a 90-minute stand off.
Rockingham County officials say no one was hurt.
Deputies say 30-year-old Gerry Bullins became irate during an argument with family members Wednesday night and began firing shots from a .22 caliber rifle. The family left the home to call officers, who arrived to find Bullins still upset, firing shots indiscriminately at deputies surrounding the property.
Bullins surrendered to deputies and was taken to a hospital.
