Reagan, West Forsyth win Forsyth County swim titles

Reagan edged Reynolds for the girls title, and West Forsyth scored a convincing win in the boys competition yesterday in the Forsyth County Invitational swim meet at Winston-Salem State.
In the girls competition, Reagan finished with 319 points to beat runner-up Reynolds by nine. West Forsyth was third with 204 points. Senior Rachel Wilson led a balanced effort for the Reagan girls. She won individual events in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, and also anchored the winning 200 freestyle relay team for the Raiders.
West Forsyth had 380½ points in the boys competiton, beating second-place Reagan by 122½ points. Tony Chen and Christian Jones spearheaded West's dominant effort. Chen won two individual events (50 freestyle and 100 freestyle) and swam on two winning relay teams (200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay). Jones also won two individual events (200 free and 100 backstroke) and swam on the winning 200 medley-relay team.
