The Wake Forest University Gay-Straight Student Alliance will hold its sixth annual dragshow to benefit Aids Care Service at 8 p.m. Friday in Benson University Center, Room 401, on the campus.
Admission is $10. Cash and checks will be accepted. For more information, call 758-6624.
The Winston-Salem Jaycees have a Monday Mixer at 5:30 p.m. every Monday at Hutch & Harris Pub, 424 W. Fourth St. The mixers include appetizers and a chance to socialize in an informal environment.

The Triad chapter of the American Singles Golf Association plays golf every weekend, weather permitting, and meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of every month at Outwest Steakhouse, N.C. 66 South, Kernersville. Singles who enjoy golf are welcome.

Let's Go Bowling Together, a night of bowling for the LGBT community, is on the first and third Thursdays of every month from 7 to 9 at AMF Winston-Salem Lanes, 811 Jonestown Road.
