North Carolina State University is holding open forums to discuss the search for a new chancellor.
The university will hold a series of public forums Wednesday, reaching out to faculty, staff, students, alumni and the public. The search committee will welcome ideas to guide the selection of a candidate.
Jim Woodward has been serving as the interim chancellor. He replaced James Oblinger, who resigned in June as the university released e-mails showing he and former Gov. Mike Easley played a role in the hiring of former first lady Mary Easley
Federal investigators have issued several subpoenas for information about Mary Easley's job and Mike Easley's travel.
