Wilkes County woman killed in car crash

North Wilkesboro - A Wilkes County woman was killed in a traffic accident late this morning, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
Amanda Lynn Limon, 18, of Bethany Ford Road, died in the accident about 11 a.m. A preliminary report of the investigation shows she was driving southbound on Rock Creek Road at a fast speed, ran off the road to the right, and overcorrected, according to a report from the Highway Patrol. The car went sideways before overturning several times.
No other details were available.
