The Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts, the Piedmont Triad Partnership and Americans for the Arts will present an Emerging Leader Creative Conversation 2-4 p.m. on Thursday at Piedmont Triad Partnership office, 7025 Albert Pick Road, Greensboro.
Creative Conversations bring together local emerging arts leaders to discuss challenges specific to their age group and experiences and issues regarding the arts in their communities. Creative Conversations are part of National Arts and Humanities Month programs coordinated by Americans for the Arts.
Officials at the Kenan Institute aim to foster an Emerging Leaders Network in the Triad. This first meeting will focus on the role arts leaders play in creating an atmosphere where artists gain a sense of responsibility to give back to their communities and society as a whole.
The meeting is free and open to the public. To attend, register online at ww2.americansforthearts.org/vango/Core/login.aspx. For more information, call 336-722-0030.
