THOMASVILLE — A man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after authorities say he shot his nephew in the face Sunday morning.
Thomasville police officers found James Josell Little, 37, of 43 Hunter St. with a gunshot wound to the face Sunday.
Little was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, according to a news release from the Thomasville Police Department.
Investigators arrested Alvin Little of 303 Walker St., Apt. A, and charged him with attempted first-degree murder. He is in the Davidson County Jail under a $200,000 secured bond.
Lt. Raymond Widener of the Thomasville police said investigators don't yet know a motive for the shooting.
