Duke's Lewis has no broken bones

Quarterback Thaddeus Lewis of Duke suffered no broken bones in his left foot in a loss at Clemson Saturday, but his playing status won't be known until later in the week.
Clifford Harris, a senior running back, suffered a broken arm in the 31-7 setback in Death Valley and will undergo further evaluation today, Coach David Cutcliffe said.
Cutcliffe said that Lewis is day to day after being hurt on Duke's second offensive series. Duke will play at Virginia Tech on Saturday. The loss at Clemson was Duke's 19th consecutive ACC road loss.
"As we have all season we'll move forward in preparing Zack Asack to run our offense," Cutcliffe said in a prepared statement released by Duke. Asack, a junior, replaced Lewis and played the rest of the game. He completed 10 of 22 passes for 61 yards and had one touchdown pass. He was intercepted twice.
Lewis has started Duke's last 33 games. He took over at quarterback from Asack as a freshman in the 2006 season when Asack was suspended from school for two semesters for plagiarism.
