The N.C. premiere of Shelby Foote's Shiloh will open at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Blackmon Amphitheatre in Mount Airy.
The Surry Arts Council is presenting Shiloh, a Civil War play adapted by John Slade from Foote's novel.
Peter Holland is directing. Actors include Paul Hodges, Bob Keck, Jane Tucker, Sarah Brown, Jasmine Hagwood, Daniel Hornak, Kevin Boyd, Mason Via, Allan Brown, Sam Brown, Roger Smith, Chastity Hanchey, Matthew Utt, Jacob Groff and Dexter Gore.
Tim Chadwick, Jane Tesh, Sylvia Lowry and Roger Stamper will perform live music.
Shiloh will run Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and next Sunday (no show on Friday). In case of rain, performances will be held in the Andy Griffith Playhouse, across from the amphitheatre.
Admission is $10.
