The Adam Foundation will sponsor an Adam Night Out at 5:30 p.m. today at Old Fourth Street Filling Station, 871 W. Fourth St. Adam Night Out is a chance to socialize and support local businesses that support the LGBT community.

OUT at the Movies, Winston-Salem's gay and lesbian film series, shows films on the second Saturday of every other month. The remaining screenings this year will be on Aug. 9, Oct. 11 and Dec. 13.
Screenings are held at the ACE Theatre Complex at the N.C. School of the Arts. Admission is $5. Proceeds benefit the Adam Foundation and NCSA's School of Filmmaking. For more information, call 918-0902 or e-mail outatthemovies@triad.rr.com.
A local bowling alley is starting Let's Go Bowling Together, a night of bowling for the LGBT community on the first and third Thursdays of every month. The evenings will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at AMF Winston-Salem Lanes, 811 Jonestown Road.

Martini Night is a time for the gay and lesbian community and its supporters at Speakeasy Jazz, 410 W. Fourth St.
Martini Night is held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month. Participants can enjoy music, appetizers and a chance to socialize.

The Winston-Salem chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 2690 Fairlawn Drive.

The Triad Business and Professional Guild meets at 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Airport Marriott in Greensboro.
The guild is a nonpartisan organization that works to promote business and social networking for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and its allies. The meetings begin with a social hour (with a cash bar), followed by dinner and a program.
