Two Charlotte men arrested in Watauga County on cocaine trafficking charges

BOONE — Two Charlotte men have been arrested in Watauga County on charges related to cocaine trafficking.
Kioko Tiautae Hamilton, 22, and Cordel Brown, 23, were arrested Monday evening and authorities seized 293 grams of cocaine, according to a news release from the Boone Police Department. Hamilton was arrested in the Food Lion parking lot in Boone and Brown was arrested in the Shoppes on the Parkway parking lot in Blowing Rock.
Hamilton was arrested on six counts of trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to traffic in cocaine by selling. Brown was arrested on one count of conspiracy to traffic in cocaine by selling.
Hamilton remained in the Watauga County jail today with bond set at $50,000. Brown was released on $10,000 bail.
