It should be apparent that the pretension by NBC, CBS and ABC of unbiased reporting is ludicrous, as their entourage followed Sen. Barack Obama from one staged photo-op to another, confirming that he is their darling.
As for Obama conducting himself as if he were the president of the United States on this tour, I find it very presumptuous and arrogant.
After meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, Obama did not seem to recognize the success of the surge. He did not give credit to Gen. David Petraeus or the coalition forces. He did not recognize the perseverance of the Bush administration in its commitment to establish freedom for the people of Iraq. Obama is not the commander in chief and should not state to Iraq's leadership his timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
Is America so mesmerized by the polished, persuasive, and politically correct presentation by Obama that we cannot see beyond the veneer of this untried and very inexperienced presumptive candidate of the Democratic hopefuls? I implore the voters of our great nation to look beneath the surface of both probable candidates and vote for statesmanship, not showmanship.

Our most abundant natural resource, the First Amendment, must be freed from the Washington political sludge by much heat and pressure. We need to grab the ears of the congressmen who are stuck in the pockets of special interests and yank them out of the grip of OPEC.
Just south of Canada is "Can do," because we Americans can get things done. We're blessed with vast natural resources, the best technology and lots of skilled, educated people. But we're stuck in Washington sludge.
We need to grab the phone book and get in touch with our congressmen. Let's take America back!
