□ Today: Dr. Russell Howerton will discuss pancreatic cancer at 6:30 p.m.

□ Monday: Gentle body sculpting at 6 p.m. with Dayle Fuentes, a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer.

CANCER SERVICES, 3175 Maplewood Ave., will offer these programs:

□ Today: "Living Well: Healthy Living After Cancer" from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The topic will be cooking with fresh herbs, and a master gardener will be assisting participants in planting some herbs to take home.

□ Thursday: "Survive and Thrive After Treatment" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided. RSVP required.

□ Monday: Reiki energy therapy from 3 to 5 p.m., 30-minute sessions. RSVP required.

□ Next Tuesday: Herbal therapy for cancer at 6 p.m. by Michele Collins, a registered herbalist.

THE SHEPHERD'S CENTER OF GREATER WINSTON SALEM, 1700 Ebert St., will offer these health and wellness activities this month and August:

□ Mondays: Senior Shape Up from 10 to 11 a.m.; warm-water exercise from 11 a.m. to noon; Body Recall from 1 to 2 p.m.; tai chi from 7 to 8 p.m.

□ Tuesdays: Qigong from noon to 1 p.m.; Warm-water exercise from 1 to 2 p.m.

□ Wednesdays: Pilates from 10 to 11 a.m.; Senior Shape Up from 10 to 11 a.m.; warm-water exercise from 11 a.m. to noon; tai chi from noon to 1 p.m.; Body Recall from 1 to 2 p.m.

□ Thursdays: Warm-water exercise 11:15 to 12:15 p.m.; tai chi from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; warm-water exercise from 1 to 2 p.m.
