WASHINGTON - Stanley Furniture Co. Inc. said in a regulatory filing yesterday that it has received $11 million related to an anti-dumping ruling involving wooden bedroom furniture imported from China.
The Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000 provides for the distribution of money collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection from anti-dumping cases to qualified domestic producers who have continued to invest in technology, equipment and people.
The federal agency could not be reached for comment about what other U.S. manufacturers received in payments from the act.
