Reynolds American Inc. said yesterday that it has named chief executives for its Conwood Co. LLC and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Co. subsidiaries. The current chief executives plan to retire next year.
Reynolds has appointed Bryan Stockdale, 50, as the president and chief executive of Conwood, effective Feb. 1. He will replace William Rosson, 60, who plans to retire after 34 years at Conwood.
Stockdale is the senior vice president of marketing operations for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and has worked for Reynolds for 30 years. Rosson will remain with Conwood in an advisory role for a short period.
Nicholas Bumbacco, 44, has been named the president and chief executive of Santa Fe, effective March 1. He will replace Richard Sanders, 55, who plans to remain in an advisory transition position before retiring with 32 years of service on July 1. Bumbacco is the president and chief executive of R.J. Reynolds Global Products Inc. and has 20 years of experience in the global tobacco industry.
