WILMINGTON
Investigators are tracking a 37-pound package of marijuana that was intercepted over the weekend at a Wilmington area mailing service.
Capt. David Ciamillo of the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office said the package was intercepted Saturday.
The Wilmington Star-News reported that the package had no return address or shipping label. Ciamillo said investigators don't know where it was being sent.
Ciamillo would not say where the package was found but said it had a street value of more than $80,000. He said his office has increased efforts to find drugs that are shipped by mail.
