Production problems cause havoc at printing plant
Today's Winston-Salem Journal will be delivered late

Morning delivery of the Winston-Salem Journal was delayed because of problems at the paper's production facility.
State editions of the newspaper were finished printing at about 5 a.m. this morning, about three-and-a-half hours later than usual.
Printing of the city edition, which goes to Winston-Salem subscribers, began before 8 a.m. It takes about an hour and ten minutes to print the paper, and then it was sent to carriers for delivery. It takes several hours to deliver the paper, and heavy rains could further slow the delivery.
