Wal-Mart plans to hire 350 for new store in High Point

HIGH POINT - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to hire about 350 people for a Wal-Mart Supercenter scheduled to open this fall in High Point.

The retailer has opened a temporary hiring center at 2107 Chester Ridge, Suite 106, near the Vann York automobile dealership. Applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The store will also accept applications from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Applicants can stop by the center or call 841-6613 for more information.
