Police charged a Winston-Salem man tonight with three counts of felony trafficking in methamphetamines, court records show.
Carlos Lamonte Williams, 30, of 5072 Bismark St. in Winston-Salem also was charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamines, felony possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, arrest warrants say.
A Winston-Salem police officer accused Williams of possessing more than 1,200 tablets of methamphetamines and possessing with intent to sell and deliver 3,917 dosages of ecstasy containing methamphetamines, possessing a .45 caliber pistol and possessing digital scales and packaging materials, the warrants say.
Williams was being held in the Forsyth County Jail with his bond set at $1 million. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 21.
