Winston-Salem State University said yesterday that it will have a financial-literacy workshop series for 25 low-income, high-school students through its Upward Bound program.
The "Money Skills for Life" series is being held in conjunction with Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Forsyth Co. Inc. A grant from the Black Philanthropy Initiative of the Winston-Salem Foundation is paying for the series.
The series will be March 18, April 8 and May 6, with a workshop on April 24.
