US Airways will begin offering daily, nonstop service from its Charlotte hub to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Dec. 15.
The route is US Airways' first service to South America and its fifth new international route this year.
The flight will originate at its hub in Philadelphia and continue on to Charlotte and Rio de Janeiro.
