The chief executive and chairman of Bank of America Corp., Kenneth Lewis, is recommending that he and his top executives get no bonuses for 2008, saying he expects the bank's final results to be below expectations, according media reports citing an internal memo sent out yesterday.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters, on average, forecast fourth-quarter earnings of 15 cents a share on revenue of $20.9 billion, and 2008 earnings of $1.23 a share on revenue of nearly $78 billion. Bank of America is to report earnings Jan. 20.
