Senior Living Communities, based in Charlotte, will start companion services next week at two of its retirement communities in the Triad through the company's new home-health agency.
Live Long WellCare LLC will offer personalized staffing on a short- or long-term basis at Homestead Hills on Homestead Club Drive in Winston-Salem and at RidgeCrest on RidgeCrest Lane in Mount Airy.
"Live Long WellCare enables seniors to live longer, live better and live well independently for longer in the comfort of their own homes," said James Anderson, the chief operating officer.
Services provided to residents by staff members include meal preparation, shopping and errands, accompanying them on appointments, and light housekeeping.
